so today i took the kids to mcdonalds. we went after they had already eaten and i had a coffee while they played. normally we dont stay long cause my son gets bored. well today he finally figured out how to get into the play structure(something his older sister figured out about a month or 2 ago and hes been very jealous since) and our normal half an hour of playtime turned into 2 hours! he had so much fun that he didnt want to leave. i got to read the newspaper and relax until it got busy and the place filled up with kids and we decided to leave. my kids do great in the play area unless there are older kids are there and then they tend to get pushed around and frustrated. anyways it was a blast and i just wish i had brought my school book along so i couldve studied lol.

so its been a lil while since i posted something other then tattoo ideas lol. ive started going to the gym regulary and am loving it. i've even lost 5lbs:) not gonna complain about that!! thats about all thats really new with me. ive basically spent my time taking care of the kids and cleaning my house or at the gym.

so ive wanted another tattoo for awhile now and have finally 'created' something i love! it'll be on the back of my neck. i have 2 versions..the first pic is the first draft i did and its a lil square i think while the second is the revised version and i think iit flows better..let me know what you think:)

Potty Training!!

well today my lil man is getting potty trained! i bought a pack of toddler briefs and a pack of diapers and told him these where the last diapers i was gonna be buying him. he seems to miss the protection the diaper gave him but like the images on his new briefs. i hope he takes to it quickly.
i am also starting to go to the gym today. i found a babysitter to watch the kids monday to friday for an hour a day. time to get in shape i guess lol.

Girl's Night!

well last night was our girls night and it was a blast! we went and watched 'The Princess and the Frog'. there were a few dark parts that i was worried would scare my girl..i looked over to where she was sitting with her nana at these parts and she had nana's hand firmly covering her eyes for her so she was ok. i was worried about nightmares but she had none. i love that she cuddled up with her nana for most over the movie even though i saw her taking nana to the bathroom a few times lol. thx mom for making her movie time so special for her:)
after the movie we went to smitty's for coffee and dessert. the kids also had meals lol. it was a ton of fun!!
now this morning my boy is super grouchy cause i only picked him up from mybrother-in-laws after 11 and he woke up at his regular time this morning and was still tired. my girl is fine but then she's used to staying up later then he is.
tonight me, my sister her bf and the kids might go see the festival of lights. i think the kids will love it!
on a sadder note, my nephew has been really sick lately and i hope he feels better soon:(

so...my boy decided this morning to pour paint into my fish tanks and all over my brand new bedding..i was very upset! i had thought he was playing in his room and when i went to go check on him i found him covered in paint and grinning on my bed. ive washed the bedding and cleaned out the fish tanks as well as gave my boy a bath but unfortunatly the paint didnt all come out of the bedding:(

tonight all the girls in my family are going to watch a movie for a girls night. gotta get ready to go soon and my girl is so excited. we're watching the new disney movie so that the younger girl can join us this time even though normally its onlt adults lol

so the last couple of days have been really busy. my sister and her boyfriend got here from BC on thursday. on friday we made fresh crab(never had crab before lol) and that was a fun experience, and of course the kids were terrified of the live crab. last night i threw a party for j's brithday which is in a few days and it was a blast! tons of ppl showed up to play poker. j hadnt been sure about throwing a party but now he's glad he let me cause he had so much fun. i still cant get over how many ppl showed up. i havent gotten anything planned for today, maybe jsut relax a lil bit. i know my brother arrived from ontario last night adn that exciting. havent seen him in a long time. i will post pics of the party and us eating the poor crabs later lol

well today i went to the city to pick up my daughter's pro pics as well as our family pics. i then did a lil shopping and went to see my sister. after leavnig my sister's place i somehow got lost for 2 hours! i somehow went to the airport and the zoo and back to my sisters before figuring out how to get home. to make it worse my phone had died so i couldnt even call for help!! now i am so tured from being stressedcause i was lost:(

yesterday the kids were sick so i spent the night 2 nights ago running pucky buckets from room to room for them and then all day yesterday my girl spelt while my boy wanted to be cuddles. it was rough but thankfully they are healthy and happy now!

well today i said bye bye to my ol car. i gave to my church to fix up for another single mom in the church. they just gave me a van that someone had donated to them. i lvoe my new van abd while it was a lil sad to see my old faithful car go i know that it'll be fixed up and used to bless someone else.

ive done a ton more baking and have almost all of it finished. just a few more batches of no bake cookies and im done. im watching my sister's 3 kids at 1 so while they distract my kids i'll finish up my baking:)

ok i keep getting calls from this company in the states saying i won a trip to disney and its starting to piss me off! like leave me alone! grr!! oh well.

my kids father is a boxer so of course we're bound to have moments where the kids wanna give it a try. as a mom i really should not encourage this but he wasnt around to stop me(he tends to be the voice of reason, while i tend to think 'hey this should be fun!!' and jump into stuff without much thought:P) so i suited the kids up in his boxing gear for pics and of course having seen their daddy fight and other fights they start boxing each other! it was super cute but most of my pics where blurry. i told them they could only box when they were wearing boxing gloves and then hid their dad's boxing gear:)

another busy yet fun day

so even tho i was sorely lacking in sleep from being up all night with my boy i still had a pretty busy today. i took my boy outside for some winter fun. later me and my girl started some christmas baking. my family has started a girl's bake day tradition where all the girls get together and bake enough christmas baking for everyone. we decided this year to do all the baking ahead of time and then meet up on the chosen day and split it up and work on decorating whatever needs to be decorated. this year i choose to do rice crispy squares and puff wheat squares cause those are things i can do with my 2 lil kids. today i started the rice crisy squares and got 3 out 5 batches done with the help of my lil girl. im hoping my boy will be able to help me make the puff wheat squares.

its currently 3:18 am and my boy is wide awake. he woke up at 2:30 am. after the hectic day yesterday i am exhausted and just wanna sleep. i seriously may cry if this boy stays up much longer!! he is currently eating breakfast and watching cartoons. unfortunately unlike his sister if i fall asleep he will get into trouble...either he'll snoop in my fridge and find the eggs which he likes to throw thinking they are balls, or find a crayon somewhere and draw on my walls or a ton of other things that i would wake up to and not like could happen so i have to force myself to stay awake even tho its very hard to do at the moment!

well today is my baby girls 3rd birthday!! its so hard to believe that she is already 3! we took her for her professional photos to day and also got our family photos done. it was a very long and tiring experience but i think the pics turned out great. i will post pics when i can:) this evening J went out and surprised our lil girl with a lil birthday cake. we do two big birthdays for her with each side of the family but we still like to do a lil one on her actual birthday with just the 4 of us.

Painting Around The House..

as i mentioned in a previous post i have been doing a ton of painting around the house the last week and a half. i only now realized that i never posted any pics so that is what i am going to do now. now for the unrelated ppl who read my blog and therefore have never seen my house just picture all the walls originally being creme and the dressers and shelves being wood and old lol. also the fact the you can now see my floor in my bedroom is a miracle!!

so today me and my sisters with children decided to pull names between the cousins as secret santas. it took some phone and major texting to work out all the details but we got it all figured otu and i think it'll be a ton of fun. my boy has already boughten his gift for the person he is supposed to buy for and my girl has started but has to buy a few more things before she is done. of course im paying for it all and picking it cause they are both to young to do it but i think when they are old they will really enjoy this.
i also bought the ingredients i'll need for the our family christmas baking day. other then shopping i havent done much other then dishes, laundry and watching the kids. my boy is super clingy and loving today which is kinda fun lol.

well not much has happened today..did dishes, some laundry and watched the kids try to kill each other just like they do every day lol. my boy is now in the 'rip the heads off sister's dolls so she cries' stage so that really sucks. im making them go with out tv today so the fighting is even worse. thinking about making chicken for super..yup not really anything interesting to post:P

well today was the birthday party for my daughter for my side of the family. it was a ton of fun and she got a set of princess dolls that she loves! i made her cake and the party theme was dora. i think the cake turned out amazing!

so apparently i havent blooged in a very long time lol.
since the last time i blogged alot has happened. my boy celebrated his 2 yr birthday party and it was a blast, ive been preparing for my girls 3 year birthday party which is on sunday. she wanted dora and even tho i hate dora i figured might as well get it over with lol. i have also been dong a ton of painting in my house. i painted an accent wall in my livingroom, dining room and bedroom. i also painted the saying 'our family is a circle of strength and love' on one of the dining room walls. i have painted my dresser and end tables in m bedroom and the shelf i have in my living room. i am working on painting the frame of a mirror i bougth second hand for my bdroom cause im sick of jumping up and down in front of my small bathroom mirror to see if an outfit works lol. all of these things got painted a dark chocolate brown and i really like how it looks. i also got 'new' couches since my old ones where pretty ratty already. my brother-in-law is making me a bedframe and im pretty excited about that. my sister from bc is planning to come out to visit over christmas and i think it'll be a blast.
the other day i had a movie night with my nephew and his mom and it was a ton of fun. the kids loved playing with their lil cousin. with the holidays and all the birthdays coming up there is a ton of stuff planned for the next month. saturday is my birthday and my niece is getting baptised, sunday is my girls birthday party for one side of the family, the 3rd is her actual birthday plus her professional pics in the city as well as family pics for us and then the next sunday is the other birthday party for her. the kids dad has his birthday on the 23rd and we're planning his party for the 19th. then the 21-26th are filled with family gatherings and other christmas fun.
socks keep getting stuck in the pipes of my washing machine and that has been super annoying. seems like when i finally try super hard to keep my house clean something breaks and i fall behind!

well today was an ok day. its been super long basically. as i said in my previous post i am referring to my kids by their first initial but my sister pointed out that 'A' is a word and a lil confusing so they will be referred to my lil man or baby girl or something like that. there is only on girl and one boy so its simple.
well the last couple days my lil man has been an absolute terror!! i cant believe how much naughty stuff he's done! so thats been stressing me out lol. my girl however had been a lil saint! i think she's trying to make up for her brother's behavior.
in a few weeks is my boys 2nd birthday but the day we were thinking of doing his party is the same day that J is fighting(hes a boxer) in the provincials so we have to reschedule. its alot of work trying to figure where to do it cause we have so many ppl coming. darn these big families lol!
today i worked on my school work and that was rough but got this assignment done. i also cleaned a bunch and did laundry..i HATE laundry lol.

The Beginning

well this is my first post in this blog so hi all!

i'll start off telling you all about me. i am a 20 year old mother of 2 amazing children who will be referred to as T and A.. no comment on that one please lol. T is almost 3 years old and she is amazingly smart and beautiful. A is almost 2 and he is a typical boy who loves picking on his sister and pushing the limits. these kids are my life and i love them so much. i would do anything for them. i am currently dating their father and its been going good. he'll be refered to as J. i have 5 sisters and 2 brothers, one of which passed away a few years ago and is greatly missed by us all. i am the youngest and no i wasnt spoiled:P my parents are still together after all these years which in this day and age is amazing to say the least. i have 3 neices and 3 nephews and they are all adorable and amzing children.
i am currently in school taking a small business management course which i love even tho its getting harder as the course progresses. i hope to one day open up my own business tho im not to sure about what type of business to start. i had a dream the other day that i helped each member of my family start a business of their choice which i think would be amazing but most of my family have their lives all planned out so doubtful that that will happen lol.
i am thinking of going back to work in the near future tho the thought of leaving my kids with a daycare makes me sad. i always said id be the stay at home mom til they are in school full time just like my mother did but i know that i may need to go back to work to help myself be able to raise them at the standard i want to raise them. gotta put them first before even my own wishes.
i love cutting hair and took a cosmetology course in school but unfortunately never finished the course cause i couldnt make the class times work after i had my lil T. so i took a few courses at home after i had my daughter and still graduated with an academic major. i shocked quite a few ppl when i showed up at graduation cause they had all thought i had dropped out. now i look at my experience and while i dont encourage teen pregnancy i wouldnt change my experience for anything. it gave me my amazing children and i wouldnt trade them for the world.
i also love reading and spending time with my kids. alot of my posts will be about them and stuff we've done. for example the other day i made them play-dough and it was a blast..my hands are still stained from the food coloring lol. i also love painting and cooking(to a point) and a ton of other things that will come out in this blog.
